The Fold London - dresses to die for

I love a fantastic dress. The type of dress that flatters you, when you can rock it to work and look like superwoman. I am always on the lookout for a super dress and I discovered Fold London. A British label started by Polly McMaster who used to work in the city and knows all about looking professional. The dresses are nothing short of spectacular. If I could have one of everything I genuinely would. Over the years, I have learnt of power of fit and quality. I have learnt you get what you pay for. So when I received my first dress from Fold, I literally gasped. I kept telling my friend ‘Feel the fabric! Feel it’. It has to be felt to be believed. I loved it so much I feel Gollum and want to stroke it and say 'my preciousssss'. I have visions of me stomping in to a boardroom in Louboutins looking fabulous in one of these dresses. It will never happen but I can dream. Seriously just look at these beauties, they speak for themselves….*I die*

Back to Work Haul

This week I had the best news in a long time. I got a new job which I really wanted and wished for all weekend. So when I got the phone call, after jumping and down in happiness, I decided to celebrate by going on a little shopping spree. So here is my work haul to update my wardrobe. If you follow me on Twitter you will know my most prized possession right now is my new Michael Kors watch. So here is the MK 5314 which is rose gold in colour. I honestly cannot stop looking at it, it is just so pretty and worth every single penny.

Workwear for the new season

When it comes to workwear, it can be hard to get the balance of professional, stylish yet comfortable. Have no fear, I am here to help with some of my picks for the workplace. So if you are looking for a key piece, this is for you. Always bear what would you wear this with as there is no point buying it if it is not suitable.

Warehouse has introduced some beautiful dresses recently but this Cowl Neck dress is the winner. Flattering to any figure and very smart for that all important meeting. This dress is definitely for the smart office and can be toned down for the daytime with a cardigan and then fully unveiled for a night on the town. Here’s the best bit, it is in the sale. Get it before it goes here!

For workwear, Next is always a go-to place for many women. They offer quality pieces at good prices. Just because it is winter, does not mean you have to wear trousers. Also, you should be preparing your spring wardrobe so here’s an addition.  A black pleated skirt to flatter all shapes. With an elasticated waistband, you have room. I see this with a silk blouse and heels to show off the legs. Perfect for the office. £28 from Next.

I believe in having a splash of colour. So to inject some warmth in to the office, Ted Baker have front ruched silk top in a hot red color. The top will flatter you as it does not cling to you. This is dry clean only so be prepared for the bill. Red, silk and ruffles, heaven! £89 from Ted Baker
