Bicester Village Review

I love shopping, I just love it. Online, in store, you name it if it has shopping I am there. So one of my favourite places to shop is Bicester Village. If you have not heard of it, it is a discount shopping village in Oxford. It is one those places you love or hate. You love it because you get designer pieces on the cheap or you can hate it because the armies of people who cannot walk straight that are front of you and push you are driving you crazy.

Amazing heels from Lollipops

I recently came across a French label, Lollipops, who do the most amazing shoes and jewellery. I went to a store launch in Spitalfields, London and some items blew me away. Thank god I had no money in my account as I would have spent every last penny in that shop. Lollipops have bags, clothes, shoes, jewellery and more. The pieces are girly and with a quirky factor that is adorable. They have been around for 10 years so not quite sure how I missed them but I am so happy I have discovered them.

Happy 1st Birthday!!

One year ago I published my first article and The Glamorous was born. I can't believe it has been a year already. Time flies when you are having fun. I have learnt so much over the past year, met so many interesting people and came across brands that I have fallen in love with. It has been hard work maintaining the blog but it is well worth it.

One of the highlights for me was meeting Flavia Cacace and winning an E>One. That night was amazing and I had so much fun. The E>One has been a dream to use and you know what, it actually works. The E>One is one the best at-home Laser Hair Removal machines so right now I am semi hairless on legs and armpits and very soon hair free forever! (although I need to get more gel to finish the treatment). Me and Flavia, wow I am really short...

Another highlight was seeing Emeli Sande perform at a spectacular press event. She is simply incredible and took my breath away.

People I am back!!! I have been going to lots of press events so I have lots of exciting things to tell you but first things first, Diamonique at QVC. I am true believer in the saying "Diamonds are a girl's best friend". However, for us mere mortals a diamond may not be in the budget. Diamonique have the most beautiful simulations of diamonds at a fraction of the cost. To celebrate the launch of 3 new categories of Diamonique, QVC had a pop up shop on Tuesday 11th October with a little lady you may recognise...

Jewellery from London Fashion Week

I am huge fan of statement jewellery and there was more than enough at LFW this week. It's amazing a statement piece can change an ordinary outfit into something very different. Be prepared, this is a picture heavy post but I hope you enjoy it. One of the standout designers for me was new Central St Martin's graduate, Kyle Hopkins. I want it all!

Westfield Stratford City Opens

Did you go see the hysteria and madness at Westfield Stratford today? Wow, I could barely walk 1 metre without bumping into somebody. Packed does not begin to describe. However, I did not let that stop me from getting to amazing shops! My debit card took a dent today. So let me show my new goodies! My prized possession is this feather clutch from River Island. From the minute I saw it, it had my name on it!

What's New on QVC?

Up until a few weeks ago, I never ever watched QVC. I never thought they would have products I would like. So I a little skeptical when I went to see the AW 11 collection. Boy was I proved wrong! Members of the jury, may I present evidence 1.

Cup of Sea Jewellery

I am always on the lookout for original jewellery. Cup of Sea is a jewellery collection made from a very dear and talented friend of mine. I could not believe how gorgeous the items were. One things for sure, I have seen nothing like these in the shops. I really think you will have people complimenting you the jewellery as it just speaks for itself. Let the show begin...

Disney go Couture

I have recently discovered a new jewellery line from Disney Couture. It is jewellery inspired by Mickey, Snow White and all your favourite Disney characters from your childhood.

The line includes necklaces, rings and earrings. This necklace is inspired by Pirates of the Carribean with a ship in bottle. There was also a skull necklace which was pretty. My camera decided to be stupid and corrupt the picture otherwise I would show you.

The current collection is Snow White inspired collection which includes this 14ct gold plated ring with red crystals. You can buy the jewellery from ASOS.

Disney Couture also does clothes so I saw lovely t-shirts with Mickey prints on it. Do you remember She-ra? I saw the most fabulous t-shirt with a print of her.

Tribal Jewellery for A/W 11

I am a huge jewellery lover and love to accessorize, so much so I sometimes look like a christmas tree. I have so much jewellery that my jewellery trees are overflowing. So you can imagine my joy when I got the chance to preview some items from two new collections for A/W 11.

First up, we have Azuni London which was started in 1996 by Ashley Marshall. He fuses ancient art, modern pop culture and fashion trends to create a unique look with traditional shapes. Each creation is handmade with semi precious stones and precious metals. The eponymous collection consists of quirky bangles, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. There were a lot of things I loved but these two are my favourites.
