BeautyLab Peptide Tanning Lotion Review

The weather is heating up and the time has come to get a bit of colour, glow and show off yor pins. So I tried out BeautyLab Peptide Tanning Lotion. BeautyLab is a brand found in spas and boutiques. The products have no artificial fragrance, rich in peptides and have anti-aging technology.

What makes the BeautyLab Peptide Tanning Lotion different from other tanning lotions is the peptide ingredient which activates the melanin receptors to create a streak free, natural tanned glow. Most tanning lotions use DHAs to make the skin brown however that is also what gives that biscuit smell. The peptide active works by increasing melanin production and creating a gradual, even tan. There is cocoa butter to moisturise the skin. Carrot Oil is used to enhance skin elasticity, lighten age spots and reduce dark circles. Passion Flower provides protection against sun exposure and pollution. So with all these lovely ingredients, I thought I would put it to the test.

I used the lotion on one leg so you can see the difference above. The right leg shows the tan 1 day after application as it builds gradually. For some reason the camera has not picked up how dark it went. It loks a lot darker in person but I am hoping you can see the difference. I put it on before I went to bed and woke up with these beauties. I have been told that it does not stain so you can go straight to bed if you like but I played safe and waited an hour to let it dry and sink in. The left leg has no application so you see the difference. The colour is nice golden brown and went on evenly with no streaks. The lotion has a lovely smell and I can smell a hint of citrus and jasmine which is not overpowering and barely there.

It is £17 and you can buy it from

  1. why not try would really recommend it :D

  2. Tanning lotion is truly a great cosmetic product. Many of these lotions have natural contents that are totally safe on the skin. Tanning lotions approved for indoor use can slow down the aging process caused by tanning bed usage, keeping the skin conditioned and softer. Thanks a lot.
